Why isn't my GoodTherapy profile showing up in search results for my ZIP code or city?
If you entered your address correctly, you should find you are listed among the results each time. However, the order of the results rotates. Depending on your location, you may need to perform the search a few times in order to see yourself near the top of the results. For example, if you perform a search for the ZIP code "10010" and then perform the same search again, you will see that all or nearly all of the results have changed the second time.
The order in which therapists are displayed in GoodTherapy's therapist directory is programmed to be fair for all members and to provide relevant options to people using the site to find a therapist. Of course, if this is not working correctly, we want to hear about it, and we welcome your feedback. However, in most cases when this question comes up, it is a result of the randomization described above.
